Our Coaches
Dustin has spent a large portion of his life in a gym and around the game of basketball. Whether he was playing the game or coaching the game, the level of commitment to the sport has remained.
Dustin grew up in Kokomo, Indiana where he attended Northwestern High School. While at Northwestern his teams won two Sectional titles, and a Regional title. Dustin then continued his basketball career at Joliet Junior College where he still holds the school record for assists with 647 over two years. In 2000 at JJC he was also named Conference Player of the Year. After two seasons at JJC ,Dustin moved on to play at Arkansas Tech University. During his stint at ATU he had a great impact on the game; he is still the only player to have a triple double, and ranks 8th in school history for assists in only 2 years of playing. Upon graduating Dustin went into sales and spent 15 years in the field. In that time he continued to play in men’s leagues, coach youth sports as well as high school sports. While living in Arkansas he was a boys and girls high school assistant at Bismarck High School.
Through a series of events and some health issues, Dustin moved back to Indiana to be near his family. Since being back in Indiana he has inundated himself with basketball. Dustin has been an assistant at Westfield High School, he ran the Westfield Boys Travel Program for four years and is coaching the Grand Park Premier 2022 Red team.
Dustin has two sons, Braden and Maddox, with his wife Ginny. When he’s not in the gym he loves to travel with his family and friends.

Coach Phil Washington, from Anderson, IN, has 15years of successful coaching experience in the game of basketball. He is responsible for rebuilding Crispus Attucks basketball program (Coach of the Year 2015) winning back to back Sectionals (2014&2015) Crispus Attucks then won the State Championship recently after the departure of Washington (2017). He has recently won the CBA Professional Basketball League (2019) and voted two times Coach of the Year(2017&2019). Coach Washington was the Midwest Scout for the famous 5Star Basketball Camp, and now helps coordinate 4Point Basketball Camp that is held in Scotland, UK. He has been an assistant on the EYBL and UAA Circuits.

Brett Hamrick

Brett Hamrick is head basketball coach for Grand Park Premier. He has coached high school and AAU basketball for 7 years in North Carolina and Indiana, most recently as an assistant at Cardinal Ritter in Indianapolis. He also worked with the Seattle Storm (WNBA) coaching staff for one season. He has coached over 50 student athletes that have gone on to play at every level from Division III to the NBA. Coach Brett is a graduate of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
Jason is a teacher and the Department Chair of Physical Education at Avon High School. He was the Varsity Basketball Coach at Avon High School for 13 seasons. He is now a Varsity Assistant Coach at Plainfield High School where his sons Drew and Cameron play. The Quakers were 20-5 this season.

Jonathan Grubaums has been coaching AAU basketball for the past 8 years after leaving high school. He spent 3 years as a varsity assistant and head 9th grade coach at Tuscaloosa County High School. Last year he served as the head JV coach at Bethesda Christian High School. Jon is excited to have just been named the Head Boys Varsity Coach at Bethesda Christian HS for this upcoming season.

Coach DeFur has coached boys and girls youth, school and travel basketball for 9 years. His teams have continually had success on the court winning multiple championships and finishing the last two years ranked inside the Top 20 Nationally. His coaching philosophy is built around fundamentals and getting the most individual effort while learning how to play team basketball.

Josh Miley has been in the game of basketball since he was born. His father, Indiana HS Hall of fame Brad Miley holds the state high school rebounding record for Indiana and played on the 1979 team at Indiana State with Larry Bird. Josh is continuing to teach our youth and what he has taught himself and so many others in the game of basketball. Stressing fundamentals while understanding the importance to play without the basketball at a young age to help prepare them for high school and college.

Brad is a graduate of Alexandria-Monroe High School and Purdue University. He is self employed farmer and a Production Manger in a Magnesium Foundry in Anderson. He has been coaching youth and high school kids for over 20 years. Currently, Brad is coaching 8th grade basketball at Madison Grant Jr./Sr. High School. “I want all my players to learn, develop and play the game the right way. When not in a gym, my wife, Shannon, and two kids, Kaden and Jase, love spending time traveling and being on the water boating. “

Coach Dre’ Knox is in his tenth year of coaching AAU basketball for Indiana youth. He is a High School graduate of Muncie Central High School where he was a four-year starter in basketball and football, receiving all-state honors in both sports. He attended Indiana State University on an athletic scholarship and followed it up with coaching varsity High School football and basketball for 5 years while earning a master's degree in education. He is currently an Assistant Principal and has worked in the field of education for over 20 years.

Coach Bartee is originally from Clarksville, Tennessee where he graduated from Rossview High School (RHS). As a player for RHS, he was a 2-time All-District selection. Coach Bartee also helped lead his high school team in achieving its best basketball record with 24 wins and 6 losses. Coach Bartee led his team by averaging 14 points and 6 rebounds a game.
Bartee graduated from the University of Indianapolis, where he played collegiate basketball and also studied Sports Management.
Coach Bartee is credible in the sports industry athletically, academically and professionally. Bartee has been fortunate enough to gain networks and do work for the Indiana Pacers and Indiana Fever in their Marketing – Game Operations department. Bartee has also served as an assistant varsity basketball coach for University High school since 2013.
Coach Bartee is excited to join Grand Park Premier. He brings with him a great deal of basketball development and fundamentals beneficial for Grand Park Premier athletes. He plans to develop players athletically and fundamentally with hopes to help assist them in taking their individual basketball careers to the next level.

Ron Rutland is an Indianapolis native with a storied basketball career. Coach Rutland played at Pike High School and was named 1987 Marion County Player of the Year, Indianapolis Player of the Year, and CSAC Conference Player of the Year. He went on to play at the University of Indianapolis and is the All-Time Career Assist Leader and top 10 in scoring. After College, Coach Rutland played professionally from the early 90’s until 2002 in the CBA, England, Finland, Sweden, Spain, and Venezuela. Coach Rutland has spent the last 7 years volunteering his time to coach up youth basketball players around the city. Grand Park Premier is excited to have Coach Rutland on our team to share his knowledge and wisdom about basketball to our players.
Cody Hunt is a 2014 Graduate of Hamilton Heights High School and 2018 graduate of IU Kokomo. He Played basketball through High School and was on the Practice Squad for the IU Kokomo Women’s team. He coached with Indiana Elite from 2016-2018 and coached with the Tipton High School Varsity Team as an Assistant from 2016-2020. Cody is excited to bring his love of basketball and coaching experience to GPP!

Coach Hubble has been coaching 10+ yrs in youth, school, and AAU basketball programs. His coaching career includes 7 years coaching at Traders Point girls program(Basketball, Volleyball and Softball), and 6 years of boys/girls AAU basketball winning multiple championships. This is his 4th year at Grand Park and proud to helped coach the GPP UA RIse 2020 program where 8 of our players have moved on to play at the College level. Coach Hubble loves volunteering his time to develop players Athletically, Fundamentally, and Mentally to play at the next level.

Eric Rauch spent 20 years as a varsity coach, with head coaching stints at Tri-West HS and Westfield HS. Prior to that he was a varsity assistant at Ben Davis HS for the 1995 and 1996 Indiana State Championship teams. In 2008 his Tri-West Team won the IHSAA Sectional Title. In 2006 Tri-West won the Hendricks County Championship by beating a Gordon Hayward led Brownsburg team, breaking a drought of 30 years for the Bruins. Coach Rauch was selected as the 2005-2006 Indianapolis Star Metro-West Coach of the Year. He was also selected as head coach of the EAST-WEST ALL-STAR GAME in 2008 and served as an assistant in 2007.

Doug Stotts is a graduate of Greenville University, where he earned a bachelor’s degree in education. He played basketball collegiately and also began his coaching career as an assistant after graduating. He has been a classroom teacher and has coached at a variety of levels. He attended Butler University where he received a master’s degree in education. He sees coaching as an extension of a classroom and as a way to continue mentoring young athletes. Doug enjoys spending time with his wife, Rachel, two children, Amelia and Owen, and the family’s French Bulldog, Stuart.

Coach Craig has been coaching youth basketball for over two decades. He has coached ages ranging from kindergarten all the way up to high school. Coach Craig is the head coach of the Grand Park 2026 ThunderCats. This team is known as one of the most successful and competitive teams in the class of 2026 and have won several tournaments and league championships. His goal is to not only teach the game of basketball but to prepare his players to be successful in the game of life as well.

Evan Suttner is a graduate of Indiana University, where he earned his master’s degree in Sport Management and bachelor’s degree in Communication and Culture. While at IU, Evan worked for five seasons with the Indiana Women’s Basketball team as a manager and graduate assistant. He also spent three seasons as an advance scout for the WNBA’s New York Liberty and two summers traveling the country as an instructor for PGC (Point Guard College) Basketball. Evan joined Primetime in 2012 as Director of Basketball, before transitioning to Vice President of Pacers Athletic Center in 2016. Named President of Pacers Athletic Center in 2018, Evan oversees all leagues, training, teams, marketing, operations, and more for the facility. He and his wife Lauren reside in Carmel, IN with their daughters Sydney and Sophie.

Jamares McCloud, Head Coach for Grand Park Premier 2021 Black, former basketball standout at Noblesville High School. Coach Jam was apart of the 2010 Noblesville High School Boys Basketball Sectional title team. After playing two years of Varsity Basketball at Noblesville went on to play basketball at Anderson University for 2 years. At Anderson University appeared in 30 games, after playing career ended at Anderson University went on to coach at Shenandoah High School. Spent two years coaching at Shenandoah as a varsity assistant coach and one year as the JV Head Coach at Shenandoah. Currently coaching at Anderson High School as varsity assistant/player development coach.

Mr. Golitko grew up in Indiana where he played his high school basketball. He graduated as his school’s all-time leading scorer and was named to Hoosier Basketball Magazine's Top 40. He went on to play Div. I basketball and baseball in the Patriot League at Lafayette College. After college and law school, he returned to Indiana and has been practicing law for the last 20+ years. Mr. Golitko enjoys coaching and mentoring young athletes, not only preparing them for competition, but also developing skills for life after sports through good team culture and the importance of diversity and academics.

Coach Jake Nerney has been with Indiana Primetime Sports and Grand Park Premier since 2014. He graduated from University High School (2014) and the University of Indianapolis (2018). Jake has held coaching positions with the University of Indianapolis, Bethel University, and Marian University Men’s Basketball Programs. He is currently an Assistant Coach at Marian University.
